According to Zecharia Sitchin`s book "The 12th Planet" it was "aliens" or creatures from the 12th planet of the solar system who made us, they came to earth to use its resources. In order to do so, they needed a helping hand. They mixed their own genes with apes and created humans. Why ? They needed workers. Instead of them working in the mines, humans did the job for them. For some reason they left earth or maybe they did not left earth, they just "hide" and won`t show themselfes to humans anymore. All religions on earth, where a human has been in contact with "God", it`s them talking to us. Our knowledge was low and we were primitive so we thought it was "God" who talked to us. Some of us still do. Well, actually we could consider them as our Gods, but they are only creatures like us. So, if there is a God who made the universe it is not them.
I know this sound all crazy when you hear it at first, specially if you are religious. I am not religious but I laughed at this before I read "The 12th Planet". The thing about this book is that Mr. Zecharia Sitchin just shows us translation of old scripts, and suddenly...you see.
Ofcourse, even with this theory and translations of the human history, it doesn`t mean every singel paranormal event is related to them and solved. No, the mystery remains, it becomes even more complicated and strange. If they made us, who made them ? Are they still watching us ? Are the goverments all over the world cooperating with these creatures ? Is the 12th planet on it`s orbital way back towards earth again causing these changes to our weather and atmosphere ? Are grays machines sent by them ? or sent by yet another race of aliens who made the people on the 12th planet ? Dreams, ghosts, God, life after death, Goverment conspiracy, Law of physics...The list is long...The questions are many...The answers are few...

Intresting
Intresting about the spiders, scorpions. Reminds me of our own evolution that cant be completly linked to darwins theory either.. because unlike other animals we have a missing link in evolution something significantly changed us about 150 000 years ago,, and the strangest thing is it didnt change us for the better!!!!!!!!!! many aspects of our previouse human ancestors where more effiecient for example their ankles and feet where much more energy efficient!!! why has evolution chosen the less effiecient form to continue? Unless evolution didnt choose, something interfeared... or perhaps we simply havnt uncovered something that will prove that it was simple evolution after all...
It sure is working thinking on...

Spiders
Gentlemen, I`m afraid to say I haven`t read the 12th Planet *yet* (just looked it up on Ebay and I might invest in a copy). To be honest, I have had a fairly religious background, but I don`t have any particular religion that I follow (mostly because ... aaah forget it - just look at Iraq, and Ireland, and they pretty much believe in the same God!). Anyway, back to the point. I recently heard a theory that spiders (or the animal group Arachnid, i.e. scorpions, mites etc.) are thought to have been brought to Earth on a comet.
The basis for this theory is that, throughout virtually all the animals which inhabit this planet, there are certain similarities. Most creatures have 2 eyes, 2 ears, 1 mouth etc. And through extensive research, there were no other creatures which fitted in with Spiders (which have 4 eyes and 8 legs).
Of course, I have no idea how reliable the theory is, but it`s food for thought, as it were.

No, we don`t have any right!
The thing is, they showed themselves as "gods" to us, so my guess is they don`t want us to know them, and we do not have any right upon our "gods". ...or maybe they are affraid of comming too close to us. They live around 300.000 years or so but humans live for 100, so maybe we evolve in a faster rate than them. They have had millions of years maybe but I think in that case, we could catch up with them soon. So, maybe that`s why. Or maybe they just like to study us. Like lab rats. Or maybe, they are way above our undrestanding so they simply can not explain themselves to us. But I doubt this one is the case.
One thing is for sure though...
We can only guess why.

Inhabitants of the 12th planet, show yourselves!!!
First and foremost I have to say that I havn`t read "The 12th planet", I only know the context of the book, but I have read a bit and heard of Sitchin`s other books.
I must say that I certainally am not a religious person and I find it hard believing that "God" C R E A T Ed it all and us all. I have seen what Mr. Sitchin presents as facts in his book. Somethings are reasonable to me but somethings I just can`t agree with. Somehow the Big Bang and evolution make more sence than "They mixed their own genes with apes and C R E A T Ed humans" ( quoting ``-_-´´ ). Until recently they (scientists etc) all thought we were about 90-99 % ( I don`t remeber exactly. ) similar to the chimpanzees. But now they have withdrawn that statement. If we were mixed with the apes how come we don`t have similar DNA?! I don`t even remember seeing any facts on why they (12th planet inhabitants) should have been the first "living creatures" so that they would have been the ones to C R E A T E humans.
That being said, I have to add that I do believe that there could be a 12th planet and even inhabitants on it. I even do believe that it`s orbit is different from the rest of the eleven planets. But since we "ordinary people"- who don`t have reguarly inflow of information on this subject and planet - don`t normally make the effort on getting to know more about this, we really can`t expect to know more about the paranormals. I guess we often do have to see one thing for ourself before we can believe it, just that in this case we are waiting it to be served to us on a silverplate.
I also blame the governements of the entire universe of our ingnorance. Yes I included their - The 12th planet`s - governements as well as ours. If they exist or have existed they probably must have had a leader/leaders of some kind. If they really are the ones which we sometimes see in pictures with their spacecrafts - which we have named UFO:s - then why do they come here if they don`t want us people to know more about them? I believe that this causes risks at their account and that if they really do exist and come to planet earth on their spacecrafts, then They Too should make an effort so that we "ordinary people" someday will get enough evidence so that our governements no longer can hide the obvious facts from even us "ordinary people". I think we have the right to know, don`t you agree?!
